Welcome to the Canadian Association of Basketball Officials website.  CABO is the governing body for recognized basketball officials within Canada.  Our partners include Canada Basketball, Sport Canada and FIBA.  Currently we have approximately 3700 members across Canada.  All National Championship tournaments are officiated and assigned by CABO officials.  The objective of this website is to make general information available to interested parties and to provide support services for registered members.

The CABO 2011 - 2012 National Rules Exam is now closed.

You can get your results from your Provincial Interpreter.

Copies of the exam can be found here. Remember the questions were randomized for your exam and will NOT be in the same order you had in your on-line exam; however, they are the same questions.

Statistics will be available on this website as soon as they are fully compiled and sent to the CABO Executive Board.

Don Cline

DON_CLINEIt is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Past President of CABO Don Cline.

CLINE, Donald Kenneth - Suddenly on Sunday, October 23rd, 2011 at University Hospital, in his 65th year. Loving husband for 39 years of Jocelyn. Terrific Dad and Daddy of Becky and Emily. Predeceased by his parents Winifred (1987) and Fred (1989) Cline and twin sister Frances Kyte (2001). Known to many as a distinguished basketball referee and an all-around great guy, Don will also be missed by his and Joce's families, neighbours and friends around the world, co-workers past and present at the PUC, City of London Parks and Rec Department and Robert Q, and especially by his four-legged constant companion, Heidi. A memorial visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Friday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., where the memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, October 29th, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Don's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
