CABO OFFICIALS DEVELOPMENT CAMP - Summer 2010

WHENJuly 14th – 18th, 2010 – Campers must have arrived at the hotel by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday July 14th - classroom sessions will start Wednesday evening – on-floor evaluations will start Friday morning and conclude Sunday afternoon.

The camp will cater to the needs and aspirations of all officials.

FORMAT – Two (2) and Three (3) person classroom sessions in English and French as well as on-floor assessments using videotape and personal critiques from the camp staff. The staff will be comprised of members of the CABO National Assigner/Evaluators panel, Canadian FIBA licensed officials and others with a vast range of experience and knowledge. NOTE – FIBA rules and mechanics will be used. In addition, each camper will officiate approximately six (6) games

• Maximum of sixty-five (65) campers. ALL campers will be required to be full CABO members.

CAMP FEE: $275.00 per camper

Four (4) days of camp experience including social and camper’s gift package.

Campers will be responsible for all costs. (transportation, hotel, meals and entertainment)

PLEASE TAKE NOTE

 CABO will be offering a subsidy to each participant to off-set the cost of travel. The travel subsidy will be based on the distance travelled. See below:

British Columbia and Newfoundland/Labrador - $300.00

Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island $200.00

Ontario - $100.00 Officials from Québec will be compensated for travel if they live more than 50 kms from Montréal.
